TEAM RETREAT CAMPS

Team Retreat Camp at Illinois Wesleyan University offers high school players and coaches a valuable head start on their fall preparation, not only through on-field instruction, but also through classroom sessions, team bonding activities, and the use of one of the finest small-college athletic facilities in the country. This multi-session practice format will also allow student-athletes some valuable downtime, with opportunities to spend time in the weight room and enjoy recreational activities such as pick-up basketball, pickleball, putting, and swimming. Throughout the camp, the Illinois Wesleyan football coaching staff will be available around the clock to provide support with everything from instruction to equipment needs.

Attendees must be members of the invited high school football programs.

Location: On the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University

What to Bring:

Football Equipment (Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Etc.)
Sheets or Sleeping Bag
Pillow and Blanket
Soap, Towels, and Washcloth
Football (if you need to bring, make sure it is well marked with your name)
Several Practice Jerseys
Sweat Clothes, Socks, and Gym Shorts (several pairs)
Football Shoes
Gym Shoes
Swimsuit
Sunscreen
Toiletries and Personal Items
Fan (Optional)*
Residence halls are air-conditioned, but it’s always nice to have a fan to cool off after a full day of camp.
